However, this token standard differs from traditional smart contracts found in Ethereum or other platforms. Instead, it resembles Bitcoin's BRC20 token structure, notably lacking smart contracts at this stage. Despite the absence of smart contracts, the KRC20 token rollout has been highly successful, with a variety of tokens already live.
